Today is Lindsey's first CAPAversary! Lindsey is our incredible Program Support Specialist at our Blue Ridge office. She's the first CAPA face most visitors see when they walk in the door. "The intentionality with which CAPA creates an environment that is inclusive, respectful, and forward-thinking allows each of us to provide the best service we can to clients and families. It is so special to see this care and concern reflected in the work that we do within the agency and in our communities." Lindsey shared that one of her favorite moments from the past year was our recent intern graduation celebration. "It was so special to be able to highlight the work that each one of them had done throughout their internship in order to make a positive difference in the lives of CAPA clients and families." We're thrilled to welcome a new group of interns to CAPA! Since 2015, more than 150 university students have completed counseling and social work internships with us. Our interns gain valuable experience working with diverse client populations and supporting families experiencing complex trauma. Kristina is our VP of Programs, and our current Interim President & CEO. We're so excited to celebrate her 13th CAPAversary! Christian said, "What I love most about this job is getting to witness clients uncover their strengths and feel empowered to reach their goals."
