  • Parenting is a journey of love, patience, and nurturing—each moment is an opportunity to guide and support our children as they grow. Being a parent can be challenging, and we understand that everyone can use a little support sometimes. That's why we offer Parenting Skills Training (PST) Classes, to help families become stronger and more resilient. You can find more information about PST and other educational opportunities on our website at capacares.org. #CAPACares #Parenting #FamilySupport

On the right side of the image, there is a quote in white text on a dark background that reads, "It is not your job to turn an infant into an adult over 20 years. It is your responsibility and privilege to care for and nurture a human being while they grow." The quote is attributed to Naomi Aldort from her book Raising Our Children, Raising Ourselves.
  • Today is Lindsey's first CAPAversary! Lindsey is our incredible Program Support Specialist at our Blue Ridge office. She's the first CAPA face most visitors see when they walk in the door. "The intentionality with which CAPA creates an environment that is inclusive, respectful, and forward-thinking allows each of us to provide the best service we can to clients and families. It is so special to see this care and concern reflected in the work that we do within the agency and in our communities." Lindsey shared that one of her favorite moments from the past year was our recent intern graduation celebration. "It was so special to be able to highlight the work that each one of them had done throughout their internship in order to make a positive difference in the lives of CAPA clients and families." Lindsey, we're so glad you're here and so thankful for the positive difference you make every day at CAPA! #WorkAnniversary #CAPA #TeamSuccess #CAPAcares #StaffCelebrations
