Holistic Career Coach ✦ International Speaker ✦ Career & Wellness Trainer ✦ Webinar & Workshop Facilitator ✦ Linkedin Pro ✦ Former CCC President ✦ Mindfulness & Well-being Advocate
The day of the eclipse happen to coincide with lunch plans I had with former Career Counselors Consortium (CCC) president, Amy Mazur. We chatted a bit about the CCC, of course! Amy served in this leadership role for 11 years. Even though this was a little while back, I wanted to give her a shout out and thank her for all that she did. There are so many people in our career coaching community that know each other, and continue to learn from each other, in big part because of Amy’s long time dedication. Thank you again Amy! I’ll also add I so appreciate having you as one of my mentors 😊

Upcoming CCC Professional Development Session: Job Search 2.0: LinkedIn + ChatGPT Secrets Revealed Friday, April 5, 2024 11:00am-1:00pm EST Registration Link: https://lnkd.in/exChDH5k About the Session: Hiring today looks very different than it did 20 years ago. Applicant Tracking Systems, AI keyword matching, and LinkedIn Recruiter mean that it’s the rare recruiter who’s just sitting there looking through paper resumes. So why are so many job-seekers still applying for jobs like it’s 1999? Join Jeremy Schifeling, who served in leadership roles at both LinkedIn and Khan Academy (OpenAI’s first education partner for ChatGPT), for a deep dive into the most advanced LinkedIn and ChatGPT techniques to help your clients: Find their perfect path - not based on a handful of obvious jobs but based on billions of career paths and AI-powered networking with targeted alumni Build a fully tech-optimized profile - if recruiters have been using AI to screen candidates for 20 years, job-seekers deserve to put the same technology to use to make sure their LinkedIn profiles and resumes make it through Ace their very next interview - not by focusing on outdated conventional wisdom (“Have a firm handshake!”) but by examining the two key neurological components of interviewing and using AI to ace both. Jeremy Schifeling has devoted his career to helping others succeed in theirs. From teaching kindergarten in Brooklyn to recruiting top students at Teach For America to leading education marketing at LinkedIn, he’s touched the lives of millions of people at every stage of their journeys. Along the way, he’s published the best-selling LinkedIn and ChatGPT for Job-Seeking books on Amazon, served as a career coach for military veterans at Shift.org and MBA students at the University of Michigan, and produced the most-viewed video in LinkedIn’s history. He currently leads marketing at Khan Academy and shares his best career hacks on thejobinsiders.com.
