J.Crew kicked off #NYFW with an unforgettable evening at the The New York Public Library, celebrating the return of their beloved print catalog with an equally iconic restaurant revival. For one night only, the brand transformed the Celeste Bartos Forum into the infamous uptown institution La Côte Basque, an with chefs Lee Hanson and Riad Nasr (of Frenchette, Le Rock, and Le Veau d'Or fame) breathing new life into a menu of French fine dining classics, while a 12-piece band led by Tony DeSare filled the room with live jazz. After enjoying their main course, guests were treated to a surprise set by Anika Noni Rose, followed by a parade of desserts including macaron pyramids, tiered platters of mignardises, and profiteroles with sauce au chocolat, poured tableside.
