The Krusi beam machine has been in the process of being installed and tuned this week, and the team was able to run our very first beam through it! We also have the first Timber Core™ panel ever made on its way to us from SmartLam North America™ - an exciting step in our launch! Sauter Timber 's new 40,000-sf #masstimber production facility will be made entirely of #glulam beams and #CLT panels. The plant, located in Estacada, OR, will offer prefabrication services for glulam and CLT, with a Hans Hundegger AG PBA Drive Machine enabling the production of large panels. The plant is also designed to store large quantities of raw timber, allowing Sauter to start production quickly once project approvals are obtained.
