🚨 Exciting Project Update! 🚨 CCE Design Associates is proud to announce an important milestone in our project with Fairfield Camino Ruiz LLC. The 385-unit Calixa Apartment Homes are a significant step towards affordable housing in the area. 40 units are dedicated to this cause, half of which are allocated for very low-income households. The apartment complex is designed with an array of amenities, including a fitness center, swimming pool, barbecue facilities, and a dedicated dog park. We are thrilled to share that the initial phases of construction have commenced. As a company rooted in supporting affordable housing, we are extremely pleased to be contributing to a project within such close proximity to our main office in Camarillo, CA. Happy World Environment Day! 🌎 As civil engineers, we play a crucial role in creating sustainable and eco-friendly infrastructures. Today, we want to highlight one of our clean energy projects, Fresno Solar Farm. CCE Design Associates provided civil engineering services for this award-winning large-scale solar facility in Fresno County. This project, one of several similar clean energy projects CCE has been involved with, included grading and drainage plans to provide a competent surface for the proprietary solar arrays. Our work also included providing site plan assistance to maximize the availability of area for solar arrays while still providing required fire access and stormwater treatment areas. The project not only demonstrates the technical expertise and innovative solutions of CCE Design Associates but also underscores our dedication to promoting a sustainable future. As we look ahead, CCE Design Associates remains committed to advancing sustainable engineering practices.

An exciting start to the week at CCE Design Associates! This morning, our team had the honor of participating in the groundbreaking of Bubbling Springs Park. Located in the city of Port Hueneme, this project will offer the community a variety of improved features to enjoy at the park, including enhanced lighting in the current baseball fields, new lighted soccer and football fields, a new dog park, and accessibility improvements throughout. We are eager to see the completed results and grateful for our part in this project with Lauterbach & Associates, Architects, Inc.

We at CCE Design Associates Inc are very excited to be involved with another project that gives back to the community, and also continuing our professional relationships with these 3 great companies!

CCE Design Associates was proud to attend the groundbreaking ceremony this morning for the Dolores Huerta Gardens project in Oxnard, CA. This project was developed by Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation and when completed, will provide 54 affordable housing units for farmworkers and unhoused veterans. Our civil engineers worked closely with Lauterbach & Associates, Architects, Inc. to ensure a cohesive design between the site work and architectural elements, which was then implemented seamlessly through S.L. Leonard & Associates, Inc. construction management. The Dolores Huerta Gardens project is an infill development on a flat site in south Oxnard. Designed with sustainability in mind, the building touts solar power and other building features, which allow the site to meet all city and county stormwater treatment criteria. The first ¾” of rain from all storm events will infiltrate back into the water table and water that leaves the site will be treated as well, with trash capture for all storm events included. Importantly, the project was named in honor of Dolores Huerta, co-founder of the United Farmworkers Association. During the groundbreaking ceremony, we were privileged to hear her give an empowered speech. This project is a testament to her legacy, promoting both sustainability and affordable housing for farmworkers in our community. We are proud to have been part of such an important project.

Big news for Ventura County! We are excited to hear that the United Water Conservation District in Oxnard, CA will be receiving $13 million in EPA loans to aid the local water supply needs. As a firm committed to sustainability and infrastructure improvement, we are thrilled to hear about this investment in our local community. This funding will assist in meeting the vital needs of the area by upgrading the aging water infrastructure, improving stormwater management, and expanding the local water supply. At CCE Design Associates, we believe investing in infrastructure is essential to building a brighter, more sustainable future. We are dedicated to ensuring our projects are efficiently planned and designed to last.
