🎉 Excited to Share My SYNBREU Experience!🎉 I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve just completed an amazing summer at Northwestern University as part of the NSF REU (Research Experiences for Undergraduates) program! 🌟 During this experience, I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project titled "Engineering Synthetic Epigenetic Regulation to Enable State-Switching Genetic Programs in Mammalian Cells." This research allowed me to expand my research interests and learn more about synthetic biology, focusing on creating dynamic gene regulation systems. This experience has not only deepened my understanding of genetic programming cells but also sharpened my skills in lab techniques and collaborative research. A huge thank you to my mentor, Gauri Bora and my PI Joshua Leonard for their guidance and support throughout this journey.
