Central Florida Health Care is so grateful for this support. This funding will allow us to help more people in need of healthcare. Thank you!
Florida communities face challenges in accessing healthcare, including long distances to a clinic or hospital and fewer providers, which can lead to higher incidences of preventable conditions. Too often those who do not live in metro areas are inadequately cared for, but that can change. This is why expanding services and reach to patients is so important. Using $20million in #NMTC financing from Florida Community Loan Fund and our investor U.S. Bank, Central Florida Health Care, Inc. is doing just that by scaling up its Frostproof and Lakeland locations in a way that will vastly increase the number of Floridians that can be reached with high quality healthcare. CFHC will expand services with the new construction of larger facilities at both locations, totaling 42,991sf: 33,600sf in Lakeland and 9,391sf in Frostproof. These new healthcare facilities will serve an estimated 22,000 patients annually through 79,000 visits with extensive wrap-around services, adult and pediatric medical services, women’s health, adult and pediatric dental services, pharmacy, lab, and x-ray services.
