This week, we welcomed a delegation from ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA including Ms. Birgit Murr, Head of Austrian Consulate General Guangzhou, to one of our consolidation warehouses in Shenzhen. It was an honor to showcase our operations and share insights into our e-commerce logistics solutions. The tour began with Jane Wong , our Vice President of Customer Experience, introducing Century and our cutting-edge supply chain solutions. Our guests then enjoyed a guided tour of key areas of our facility, overviewing the overall operations process, with a highlight being our automated conveyor system for efficient inbound receiving. Did you know that Thailand recorded an increase in container throughput, reaching 10,497,112 TEUs in 2022? Positioned centrally in Southeast Asia and boasting a coastline exceeding 3,200 km, Thailand shares maritime borders with various nations, such as Myanmar, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia. This advantageous geographical position has elevated its status as a key logistics center in Southeast Asia. Bangkok Port is the country's primary port situated in the capital city, which is capable of handling diverse types of cargo, including containers, bulk shipments, and general goods. In 2023, Bangkok Port efficiently managed 1.26 million TEUs of container throughput. Furthermore, most of cargo volume in the same year was managed at Laem Chabang Port, amounting to around 8.6 million TEUs. This port is currently progressing through its third development phase, with plans to boost its capacity for handling up to 18 million TEUs annually. Additionally, Sriracha Harbor, a privately owned deep-sea port, has an annual capacity exceeding 3,000,000 tons. It remains accessible and fully operational for 95% of the year, with a focus on providing fast, flexible, and reliable port services to meet customer needs. Sandy and Charles had the privilege of spending time with our Colombian Operations Team at their office in Bogota, Colombia. As a key part of our global network, this visit was an incredible opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate the hard work that keeps our customers' global supply chains running smoothly.   To show our appreciation, the team received some Century swag gift boxes and enjoyed a team lunch, adding a fun touch to a productive visit.
