Check out the Northwestern Mutual Tower and Commons – a spectacular 1.1 million square-foot, 32-story office building in downtown Milwaukee. This impressive skyscraper offers breathtaking views of the lakefront and cityscape from its 3-story common space area. We played a key role in bringing this architectural marvel to life alongside lead architect, Pickard Chilton and joint venture partner, Gilbane Building Company. In 2015, we made history with Wisconsin's largest continuous concrete pour for the Northwestern Mutual Tower and Commons foundation. Over 29 hours, we poured 9,200 cubic yards of concrete! Key Stats: • 250+ construction workers • 9,200 cubic yards of concrete • 1,350 tons of reinforcing steel • 920 truckloads of concrete • 11,881 labor hours • 46% Milwaukee residents RPP workers • 51% of work performed by Milwaukee small business enterprises • Zero accidents or injuries We're proud to have been part of this incredible milestone that showcases the dedication and collaboration of our team and partners.
