Last week, Court and Brad from the Chamberlain team welcomed the opportunity to support America's Warrior Partnership at an event in New Jersey. The highlight of the evening was hearing from Medal of Honor recipient Clint Romesha, who spoke about #duty, #bravery, and #heroism. Clint continues to inspire and motivate, and we’re eager to dive into his book, “Red Platoon: A True Story of American Valor,” a firsthand account of the 14-hour firefight at the Battle of Keating in Afghanistan. AWP’s goal is to improve the quality of life for #veterans and to end Veteran suicide by empowering local communities to serve them proactively and holistically before a crisis occurs. AWP does this through their 4-step model: Connect, Educate, Advocate, and Collaborate with Veterans, their families, and caregivers, and the communities that support them. Over the past year, we've collaborated closely with this PE portco to build their HR function from scratch, starting with the recruitment of a VP of HR, followed by two regional managers, and now completing the team with an HR Director. We placed a candidate who not only fulfilled all requirements – multi-state experience, deep ERP technical skills, and a willingness to get in the weeds to support a growing company – but also brought extensive security services industry experience to hit the ground running on day one.

After placing a CFO for one of our PE partners in one portco, we were excited when they asked us to find a CFO for another company within their portfolio.
