We are so grateful to the members of the state legislative delegation who toured the Lynn Food Pantry, which celebrates its second anniversary this week. More than 47 million people across the United States face #foodinsecurity, and since opening the Lynn pantry has distributed 1.2 million pounds of food and served 8,000 clients from Greater Lynn. Join #CatholicCharities in the fight to #EndHunger today.
8,000 clients served 5,000 families fed 1.2 million pounds of food distributed in the two years since Catholic Charities Boston opened our desperately needed food pantry in Lynn. We invited members of the Lynn delegation for a visit to thank them for generously supporting the families we serve. Thank you Brendan Crighton Jennifer Armini & Rep. "When someone comes and they are at their last–they don't know where to go." The Greater Boston Food Bank is a critical strategic partner in delivering nutritious food to Catholic Charities Boston so that the hundreds of clients who visit our pantries each day don't have to worry about how they are going to feed their families. Honored to work alongside them to address #foodinsecurity in Eastern Massachusetts and bring hope and relief to those who need it the most as highlighted in this great piece by WCVB Channel 5. https://lnkd.in/eBfbesHc
