We were thrilled to have Boston City Counselor Ed Flynn visit the Labouré Center this week! It was an honor to show him our critical services and impact in the #SouthBoston community, and we are so grateful for Counselor Flynn's ongoing support of #CatholicCharities.

Catholic Charities is deeply saddened by the loss of beloved friend and supporter Jack Connors Jr., a pillar of Boston's philanthropic community and tireless champion for underprivileged youth in our communities. Jack's generosity knew no bounds, and his devotion to helping others, firmly rooted in his Catholic faith, touched the lives of countless children and families across the Archdiocese. His infectious enthusiasm and natural charisma were gifts he generously used for the greater good, recently helping Catholic Charities Boston raise an incredible $1.5 million through his role as a co-emcee for Spring Celebration. Jack’s legacy of compassion is worth celebration itself, and he leaves a lasting reminder to always ask ourselves what more can be done to help improve the lives of others. Our hearts are with his wife Eileen and the Connors family during this difficult time.
