Completion of this program demonstrates TaKeyia’s commitment to excellence, experience and her passion in her role as Community Partnerships Manager. As a dynamic community curator for the Festival, TaKeyia is dedicated to carrying out NCBF’s goal to connect and engage residents in all eight DC wards and the surrounding areas. She is instrumental in creatively ensuring NCBF’s initiatives to bring the springtime celebration and experiences to local neighborhoods as well as providing opportunities to participate in annual traditional Festival events and new innovative programs.

🌸 The National Cherry Blossom Festival made a strong impact today at Destination DC's 2024 Marketing Outlook Meeting! We shared the 2025 Festival dates, captured valuable business leads, and engaged directly with DC tourism leaders. The “Festival in Bloom” Flower Bar, thanks to Flowers by Alexes, was a big hit—creating great connections, handing out spring-inspired bouquets, and 2025 rack cards to keep the Festival front and center. This was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen our connections within the industry, and we’re excited to see how today’s engagements will help shape an unforgettable 2025 Festival!
