What inspiring remarks from CAGC president Colette Rozanski at last evening's Opening Ceremony of Associated Schools of Construction Region 3's Student Conference in Downers Grove! University students from across the country are here this week to participate in design-build, commercial, heavy civil, preconstruction, concrete solutions, and electrical building competitions. She recounted the career trajectory that led to her current role as President of R.C. Wegman Construction Company, shared numerous nuggets of advice and wisdom illustrated by personal anecdotes, and championed the students as they push themselves, support their teammates, and give it their all not only this week but throughout their careers as the future leaders of our industry!

CAGC is honored to celebrate Bulley & Andrews' 75 long-standing years as a dedicated member of the Association. They were a prominent contractor member of Associated Builders of Chicago, a different industry organization, before that group amalgamated with then-Builders Association in the mid-40s, which later merged with Chicagoland AGC. CAGC is especially grateful for your unwavering support and commitment to the Chicagoland construction industry over the numerous decades. Cheers to many more! #ChicagolandAGC #memberanniversary #CAGCmember #chicagoconstruction #constructionassociation #CAGCcommunity

Global Futurist. Artificial Intelligence & Disruptive Trends Keynote Speaker. Specializes in CEO/CxO leadership meetings & events. Booked by clients like Disney, World Bank, Mercedes Benz, NASA, Pfizer
Trade union folks are told that all their jobs are going to disappear with AI. It was great to get in with this group of hard-working folks to give them a realistic tour of the opportunities that AI will provide! It was a wonderful session and thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone on the team. AI needs realistic insight, not hype, fear, and hysteria!
What a fantastic industry-wide seminar on the impacts of AI on union construction! Thank you so much to our Keynote Speaker Futurist Jim Carroll for your engaging and eye-opening presentation on the realities of artificial intelligence, how to adapt as AI transforms our industry, and where we are headed in the future. Attendees also gained valuable insights through real world demonstrations on the possibilities of preconstruction use of AI to enhance accuracy and productivity for construction staff. "Companies that do not yet exist will build products not yet conceived using methodologies not yet in existence with materials not yet invented based on ideas not yet imagined by people who do not yet know that they are inventing tomorrow, today." - Jim Carroll Yesterday's event at Rivers Casino Des Plaines was sponsored and hosted by Chicagoland AGC, Great Lakes Construction Association, Underground Contractors Association of IL, MIDWEST WALL AND CEILING CONTRACTORS, MID-AMERICA REGIONAL BARGAINING ASSOCIATION, and Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA). Special thank you to CAGC member sponsors Dalux and Elecosoft !
