Did you know that employed adults spend more time working than any other activity during their waking hours? Yet, for too many, work detracts from their mental health, contributing to conditions like depression and anxiety. At Child Saving Institute, we recognize the critical importance of addressing mental health—both for our team and the clients we serve. Prioritizing mental health not only enhances individual well-being but strengthens the entire organization and community. By fostering inclusive, supportive work environments, leaders can drive both productivity and positive change. This World Mental Health Day, let’s champion practices that empower workers to thrive, building a healthier, more resilient workforce for the future.💚 #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters #WithHeartAndHumanity

Today, two of our team members attended the CODE Conference, where one session specifically highlighted the disparities in education that many children face in Omaha. Barriers like hunger, lack of transportation, and unstable home environments make it difficult for children to thrive within the walls of a classroom. These insights serve as a powerful reminder of why we do the work we do at CSI. Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, no matter their circumstances. By recognizing and addressing these barriers, we can help children overcome challenges that they shouldn’t have to face alone, unlocking their full potential. This experience reinforces the importance of DEI work—not just in the workplace, but in creating a more equitable future for all children. Thank you to Greater Omaha Chamber for organizing such an incredible event! #TheConferenceOMA
