Imagine this: For 17 years straight, you don't know where you will get clean water to feed your family, wash your clothes, or brush your teeth. That was the harsh reality for the residents of O'Toole, WV. Day after day, they faced uncertainty and hardship, struggling with the most basic need of all: clean water. After learning about the struggle this community was facing, Alliance for Chemical Distribution (ACD) member CITCO Water and the Keepers of the Mountain Foundation stepped in, bringing life-changing solutions to the community. Their combined efforts transformed O'Toole, ensuring that clean, safe water was finally accessible to every resident. I'm incredibly proud of this episode and honored to contribute to sharing the story of resilience and the impact of organizations dedicated to positive change. Aulick and CITCO Water team up this week from a transportation standpoint to deliver 6 custom chemical feed systems to two different contractors in Indiana. Utilizing Nitra-Nox, these systems will prevent the production of hydrogen sulfide in the wastewater stream, protect municipal infrastructure, and eliminate the potential for community odor complaints. Aulick and CITCO Water personnel had a great time presenting and participating in Clean Water Professionals of Kentucky & Tennessee's 2024 Collections Workshop this week in Bowling Green, KY. Aulick's Brian Castle and Dustin Dixon spoke on our strategic approach to hydrogen sulfide testing in the collection system and what solutions are available to Utilities and Engineers. Additionally, Tim Aulick participated in a career perspectives round table discussion with Engineers where he shared his industry knowledge from over 25 years in Collections. Thank you to CWP of KY-TN for hosting this incredible event. We look forward to supporting it again in 2 years!
