Citi Trends is proud to honor Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration marking the end of slavery in the United States. The historical legacy of Juneteenth shows the value of never giving up hope in uncertain times. For many Juneteenth is a day of reflection – to honor freedom from slavery, celebrate achievement, and encourage continuous self-development. As we as a company take the time to reflect and rejoice on the significance of Juneteenth, we honor the importance of today, reflect upon how far we’ve come, and recognize that there’s more work to be done towards full equality. #Juneteenth2024 #HonoringJuneteenth #FreedomDay #CelebratingJuneteenth #CitiTrends #LiveBold #LiveProud

Home of the free, because of the brave. This #MemorialDay we remember and honor the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country and support the family members of those we have lost. During this holiday, no matter how you celebrate, we encourage you to take a moment to stop and remember those who lost their lives while serving in the US military. We remember their courage, honor, and bravery, today and every day. #2024MemorialDay #RemembertheFallen #CitiTrends

At Citi Trends we believe life is best when you Live Bold, Live Proud and Respect All. Our senior leaders recently hit the road to visit our corporate teams in Savannah and New York, as well as our distribution teams in Darlington, SC and Roland, OK to celebrate the CITI LIFE. Cultivating an authentic company culture, AKA the CITI LIFE, is at the core of everything we do. It was a treat to gather the teams for a bit of team building and to conduct honest conversations about ways we can improve our culture. #CitiTrends #LiveBold #companyculture #LivintheCITILIFE

Our world-class team of District Managers are coming off the heels of an amazing in-person training summit filled with learning, collaboration and fun! They are ready to take what they’ve learned back to their store teams to make a serious impact in 2024 and beyond. A special thank you to Dr. George Vellios and the entire Straxo team for their tailor-made training, assessments and targeting coaching. Their unique approach has equipped our District Managers with the knowledge and skills they need to lead our store teams with excellence. Check out just a few of our favorite moments from Citi Summit 2024. #CitiTrends #DistrictManagers #LiveBold #StoreTeams #training # collaboration

Citi Trends is shining a spotlight on one of our amazing store managers to conclude our Women’s History Month celebrations.  Mariannis immigrated to the United States from Cuba fifteen years ago and joined the Citi Trends team shortly after. At the time she spoke very little English but was eager to learn everything she could about the business. Today she manages one of our top performing multicultural stores in Florida. We asked her a few questions about her career. Here is what she shared with us.   Q: What are you most proud of when you think about your career? A: I am proud of how I can learn and grow with Citi Trends. I am proud of the opportunity that Citi Trends has given to me. I am an immigrant, and I have been able to learn the language, the culture, and everything about this country. Mostly, I am proud of how I have grown as a leader since joining Citi Trends, and how all the employees follow me as a good leader. I am proud that, you know, I’ve been here for 15 years, and the company has recognized my work. It means I am doing my job.   Q: What do you love most about your job?  A: I love merchandising; I try to coordinate 4-ways and H-racks. My customers love the merchandising and it is a way to put together a presentation for the customer that would make them want to shop. The other thing that I love is the interaction with my customers. I treat them like they are my family members. I am always suggesting, always taking care of all that they need and all that their family and kids need. The other thing that I love is working with my employees. I try to always motivate them and worry about their needs. I feel confident in my job!   Q: What are your goals for the future? A: Of course, I would love to have a higher position in the future. Maybe I could be a District Manager, or I like the Buyer’s position because I love clothes! Being promoted in the future is a big challenge for myself. #CitiTrends #womenshistorymonth #womenempowerment #careeradvice #LiveBold
