Teresah Arthur, Short-Term Rental Specialist guides viewers through a brief timeline of events occurring at the state level which have allowed us to create a 24-7 STR hotline and an emergency contact registration program. In 2022, the state allowed local municipalities to require STRs to have an annual permit which also meant STRs must have the Transaction Privilege Tax license to market their STR on websites such as Airbnb and VRBRO. Tune in each week to see a new educational video about STRs. Learn more at www.sedonaaz.gov/str.
