Earlier this week, Town staff met with the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) from Bradshaw Mountain High School. We're thrilled about the collaboration between the YAC and the Town to enhance projects and initiatives for the youth in our community. The Prescott Valley Economic Development team recently hosted a discussion with Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority, focusing on regional sustainability and economic growth. Watson emphasized the importance of job creation and economic diversification and praised Prescott Valley for its strategic approach to economic development. She said, “You’ve got a plan for where you are going. And you’re working together. Those are the key ingredients that any community, any state needs to be successful: being inclusive, creating a strategy, being intentional, and working together.” The Town recently finalized its first Economic Development Strategic Plan, which outlines key objectives to attract investment, support local businesses, and create job opportunities.
