Meet the latest company in our portfolio, DG Matrix! Introducing a new approach to grid management, DG Matrix’s novel Power Router technology replaces the need for multiple electrical systems with one solution – a critical technology to meet rising load growth. Recognizing that sectors across AI, EVs, and electrification are struggling to manage the rise of more complex electricity configurations, DG Matrix developed a versatile, cost-effective solution to integrate multiple AC and DC energy sources and loads simultaneously without sacrificing grid integrity. With plans to scale commercially this year, DG Matrix’s decarbonized energy system will enable the U.S. to lead AI delivery and electrification, while alleviating grid pressure globally. We’re grateful to be joined by our powerhouse cohort of co-investors: ABB, Cerberus Ventures GmbH, Chevron Technology Ventures, and Piedmont Capital. Congrats to Haroon Inam and the DG Matrix team on this milestone! More on how DG Matrix is transforming grid management: https://bit.ly/4iH54oE

In just a couple short weeks, I'll have the pleasure of joining Bertrand Laroche of Agilyx on stage at SuperReturn Energy to investigate the state of recycling today and the pervasive challenges that lay ahead when it comes to improving resource-use efficiency. As we continue to battle ever-increasing plastic pollution and the harmful effects of these materials on our atmosphere, ecosystems, and bodies, it's long overdue that we discuss the role of corporates, consumers, and innovators like MacroCycle Technologies, aiming to make a dent in this generation-defining issue. Message me if you will be there and would like to chat, or if you'd like more information on discounts and opportunities to attend. Clean Energy Ventures

♻️ As a member of the ACT (American Circular Textiles), our CEO Stwart Peña Feliz joined the Executive Lobby Day in Washington DC, advocating for policies to encourage textile circularity. At MacroCycle Technologies, we are engaging with policymakers to address and educate on a variety of strategic topics, including how innovation in chemical recycling will be required to create a fully circular economy. We are doing our part in demonstrating that chemical recycling is more than plastics to oil, but the pathway towards upcycling end-of-life materials that cannot be repaired, reused or mechanically recycled. Smart legislation and incentives armed with this knowledge will allow sustainable businesses to grow and thrive, while we unleash our domestic manufacturing and increase our supply chain resiliency, which is critical with our current environment and recent news. Great to connect with leaders in government, including with the offices of Senator Ed Markey, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse and Congresswoman Chellie Pingree. We would like to thank the ACT (American Circular Textiles) and Rachel Van Metre Kibbe for making it happen, and to our circular economy peers GAMBERT SHIRTMAKERS, Project Repat, Circ®, Garson & Shaw, LLC, USAgain, Vestiaire Collective, unspun™, and ThredUp for their collaboration in advancing this crucial dialogue. #CircularEconomy #PolicyAdvocacy #Sustainability

The first stop on the #GettingThingsBuilt tour, Carbon Upcycling Technologies along with New Economy Canada and Calgary Construction Association, showcased the latest milestone in developing a high-quality, low-carbon supply chain for Canadian cement producers. More from the event at Carbon Upcycling’s Alberta facility, and the company’s progress in pioneering innovative ways to optimize operations and support Canada’s local manufacturing and supply chains ⬇️
We're getting things built 🏗️🌎 Our team at Carbon Upcycling, alongside our partners New Economy Canada and Calgary Construction Association, came together to host the first Albertan stop of the #GettingThingsBuilt tour. We convened stakeholders from across the construction value chain to discuss the importance of investing in local manufacturing and sustainability. The event kicked off with networking, insightful speeches from our COO Juliane Kniebel-Huebner and NEC's Merran Smith, and an outstanding panel featuring Minister of Advanced Education Honourable Rajan Sawhney, ECA, MP Greg McLean, Councillor Kourtney Penner, and Bill Black from the Calgary Construction Association. We then welcomed everyone to our commercial demonstration facility to share how we're producing local, low-carbon materials right here in Calgary. A couple of quotes that stood out to us: "The construction industry needs all the edge it can get. We have growing needs for high-performance buildings and at the same time we're in an alternative supply chain world. It's forcing us to look at new ways of doing things to optimize our operations. It's difficult for builders to try something new on their own, and we look to partner with pioneers like Carbon Upcycling to make progress together." - Bill Black, President and CEO of Calgary Construction Association “Prioritizing local sourcing of materials could have profound short and long-term impacts for Canada, and that’s part of what Carbon Upcycling is doing: offering Canadian cement producers a local, secure and high-quality supply chain, that also happens to be low carbon. We’re excited to be getting things built in Canada by working with builders, manufacturers and governments, powered by Canadian resources, Canadian innovation, and Canadian workers.” - Juliane Kniebel-Huebner, Chief Operating Officer of Carbon Upcycling Thank you to our partners and community for coming out! We're looking forward to the next one. Stay tuned 👀
