About us
The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) is a nonprofit professional organization dedicated to serving the needs of legal professionals here in Greater Cleveland. A voluntary membership organization, its members includes attorneys and judges, law students, paralegals, and other business professionals. Together, it serves as the collective voice of our legal profession, both bench and bar. It was formed in March 2008 by the consolidation of the Cleveland Bar and Cuyahoga County Bar Associations, which brought together more than 135 years of rich history. Its vision is to be the model of metropolitan bar member and community service and leadership, indispensable to the practice of law in Greater Cleveland. Our Bar Foundation is the charitable fundraising arm of the CMBA and raises critical dollars for the association’s nationally recognized "Lawyers Giving Back" public outreach and pro bono legal service programs.

As we have done for the past 22 years, Judge4Yourself.com has released ratings for all Cuyahoga County and Statewide judicial candidates who chose to participate, for the general election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Our six-Bar coalition rates all participants, and those candidates are also offered the opportunity to record a video answering the same four questions. All of those videos are available on Judge4Yourself.com, and we'll be posting one video each week from now until Election Day. Here is Ami A. Imbrogno, candidate for Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas – General Division.
