How Cloudera is collaborating with Snowflake to get more data use cases 🤝 theCUBE.net Join #theCUBE analysts at #EVOLVE, where we’re digging into Cloudera’s partnership with Snowflake. We’re live with David Dichmann, senior director of product management at Cloudera. “There's a lot of data in Snowflake and there's a lot of data in Cloudera, especially on premises and in multiple clouds. This partnership focuses on the Iceberg Rest Catalog, which is the easy button for different data engines and data compute environments to be able to talk to data anywhere and share it in a more uniform way. The key ingredient is this Apache Iceberg Table format,” Dichmann explains. “The partnership with Snowflake and Cloudera starts with this notion that we're going to use this common layer to communicate with each other so that folks who are doing their business dashboards and analytics on Snowflake can work on data shared by Cloudera. Then, that same data can now be used to train for generative and other forms of AI,” he adds. 📺 Catch live insights! https://lnkd.in/gjXYArjf #EnterpriseAI #DataManagement #EVOLVE24 Bob Laliberte Rebecca M. In our inaugural Women Leaders in Technology (WLIT) session during #EVOLVE24, our moderator Zoya Hasan of Forbes opened the discussion with a startling fact: only 25% of leaders in technology are women, but women in tech should be more than a statistic. Insightful, honest discussion from Zoya, Amazon Web Services (AWS)’s Melissa Dougherty, Deutsche Bank's Nichola Hammerton, and Cloudera's Manasi Vartak that explored their journeys to leadership, the crucial role of mentors, removing self-imposed barriers, and fostering female leadership early in life. #ClouderaWLIT

Kicking off live analysis from #EVOLVE24, #theCUBE welcomes Cloudera CEO Charles Sansbury 🤩 Tune in now! theCUBE.net Fresh from the keynote stage, a “fully caffeinated” Sansbury reflects on his first year in the role and what’s next for the company. “When I joined, ChatGPT had just been announced. The volume around AI was starting to increase,” Sansbury says. “We’ve always had a view that data and analytics was going to be key to companies’ data strategies to help them make better decisions, so that was a great foundation on which to build.” From that community comes a global reach and a group of “aligned and supportive investors,” according to Sansbury, all adding up to a dynamic market of opportunities. “That means investment is critical for us to not just maintain our leadership position, but extend it,” he furthers. “We’ve been doing what used to be called machine learning-based models for customers for 10 years. As compute has gotten faster and access to data has gotten greater, machine learning has evolved into what we call AI today, but it moved to one of our strengths. 📺 Tune in now for more insights! https://lnkd.in/gjXYArjf #EnterpriseAI #ModernData #CXOtrends Bob Laliberte Rebecca M.
