Does your provider organization (PO) submit encounter data within 90 days? In our new report, funded by Health Net, we summarize the quality of encounter data capture in California and explain why timely encounter data is essential for accurate clinical quality reporting and quality improvement initiatives. Among the findings: There’s a more pronounced relationship between encounter data timeliness and clinical quality performance for provider organizations with lower clinical risk populations. 88% of these POs are independent practice associations.
