Since 1983, we’ve been dedicated to transforming children’s healthcare by raising critical, unrestricted funds to support treatments, programs, and state-of-the-art equipment for local children’s hospitals. Our 170 member hospitals treat 12 million kids each year, supporting the mental, physical, and emotional health of patients and their families. Working together with partners and programs like Extra Life, Dance Marathon, Play Yellow, and Radiothon, we’ve raised over $9 billion in 42 years with no plans on stopping! When we improve the health of all children and allow them the opportunity to reach their full potential, we can improve our communities for years to come. Coale’s arrival came with an immediate challenge: a rare condition called Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type III. This disorder affects collagen, a vital protein that helps make bones strong. Without enough collagen, Coale’s bones were incredibly fragile. At Children's Hospital of Georgia, a member hospital of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, doctors, nurses, and physical and occupational therapists became Coale's allies, working alongside his parents to navigate this delicate journey. Through countless surgeries and therapies, funded in part by donations, Coale’s body grew stronger. Today, Coale’s a six-year-old dynamo. He practices modified jiu-jitsu, dreams of space adventures, and lives for an epic playground with giant slides! #changekidshealth
