I genuinely had such a blast at the AIChE National Conference in San Diego last week! This was my first time presenting my engineering education research to an outside audience, and I received such great feedback and responses. I am honored to have been selected as a finalist for the AIChE Computing & Systems Technology Division (CAST) Director's Student Presentation Award and to have received second place. It was also an honor to present my research to such talented students and researchers. I am incredibly grateful to my advisor, Ignacio Grossmann, who has supported and encouraged me throughout all stages of my research.
Using both computational and experimental tools, the Whitehead Lab has linked the immune response caused by lipid nanoparticles to their lipid chemistry. If incorporated into decision trees for developing therapeutics, their framework can help expand the use of RNA medicines beyond vaccines to other therapeutic applications. https://lnkd.in/esVqTpUE

This weekend, I attended the 2024 AIChE Student Conference and Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA. I had the opportunity to present and discuss my research with many brilliant individuals, and it was so fun to meet new people and reconnect with familiar faces!
