Earlier this year, a special issue of the Journal of Phase Equilibria and Diffusion was published in memory of CMU MSE professor, Ted Massalski. This issue presents a wide variety of articles covering fundamental phase equilibria research to application to industrial processing reflecting the broad impact of his research in the field of materials science.
