Continuously learning and growing as an inclusive leader is essential to creating environments where everyone can thrive. I had the privilege of participating in an impactful event hosted by the Colorado Neurodiversity Chamber of Commerce (CNDCC). Their mission to optimize business growth by fostering authentically diverse, equality-based workplaces while empowering neurodivergent individuals to excel in the workforce, business, and leadership is truly inspiring. Thank you to the CNDCC for welcoming me to your impact breakfast and providing a space to expand my understanding of DEIB concepts. I encourage everyone to learn more about this incredible work and to open their minds to the importance of inclusivity. We all play a crucial role in creating a better world for everyone. #Inclusion #Leadership #Neurodiversity #DEIB

Love this. Great to see our local business community coming together to learn and grow! Thank you to the Colorado Neurodiversity Chamber of Commerce for letting us share about how FirstBank is learning and growing in the neurodiversity space. I’m proud of the work our newest employee resource group, the Neurodiversity and Abilities ERG, is doing to support our FirstBankers.
The MJ Companies was proud to sponsor The Impact Breakfast for The Colorado Neurodiversity Chamber of Commerce this morning! Courtney Hutchison, Bethany Peterson and I learned about all the tools and resources that the Chamber has curated for Colorado businesses as well as heard case studies from Nicole M. Jones, M.A. Psych, CWDP of Denver International Airport - City & County of Denver Dept of Aviation, Nicole Marie Ortiz, EdD of Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance, and Adam Snyder and Sean Choi of FirstBank regarding how they leveraged the CNDCC to help them support and grow their workforce. If you are interested in learning more about programs, training, or membership, PM me. I can help connect you!

🌟 What an incredible morning at our first annual Colorado Neurodiversity Chamber of Commerce Impact Breakfast at the Denver Zoo! 🦁 We celebrated two years of advancing the neurodivergent community in leadership, entrepreneurship and business in Colorado, and the energy in the room was inspiring. A huge thank you to our corporate members— FirstBank (Sean Choi and Adam Snyder) Denver International Airport - City & County of Denver Dept of Aviation (Nicole M. Jones, M.A. Psych, CWDP), and the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance (Nicole Marie Ortiz, EdD)—for sharing their experiences on how working with CNDCC and embracing neuroinclusive practices has had a measurable and meaningful impact on their businesses, and the resulting opportunities for neurodivergent employees. We're excited to continue empowering neurodivergent professionals and supporting businesses in unlocking this incredible talent pool. If you missed the event, it’s not too late to get involved! I was so inspired to learn more about the Colorado Neurodiversity Chamber of Commerce yesterday. As the construction industry continues to see labor shortages across the board, we MUST consider how to make the workplace more inclusive! How can each of us be a part of that change? 💫 If you’re unsure, CNDCC has suggestions!
