The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL) is seeking bids for the construction of a restoration project on Bayou Pointe-au-Chien in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. Erosion has caused a breach in front of a culturally significant site, opening a trenasse (small cut in the marsh) into Bayou Pointe-au-Chien. CRCL and the Pointe-au-Chien Indian Tribe seek bids to construct a series of lumber cribs filled with straw bales. The bid deadline is October 31, 2024. If you are interested in the project, please reach out to darrah.bach@crcl.org to discuss the requirements. Click this link to learn more: https://lnkd.in/gcmjaPQZ
