We had an amazing time supporting NC Sustainable Energy Association’s Making Energy Work Conference these past few days, where where we were recognized for our commitment to energy efficiency! 🌟 Our ongoing partnership with NCSEA has powered innovative programs like Duke Energy Corporation’s Improve and Save program and the Carrboro/Orange County Neighborhood Energy Resilience Program, which have made a difference for thousands of low-to-moderate income households across North Carolina—and there’s so much more to come! Congrats to Tina Clossick for receiving the Diversity and Inclusion in Sustainable Energy Award, and a big thanks to Creighton P. Coastal Credit Union Foundation has awarded $260,000 in Q4 grants to 19 nonprofits across North Carolina, bringing our total to $965,500 for 2024! 🌟 These grants will improve access to critical resources and support financial well-being programs in our local communities. Included is a $20,000 grant to the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation Disaster Relief Fund to assist credit union employees in affected regions. Not only does she excel on the gymnastics and cheer teams 🤸♀️, but she also brings unmatched energy and leadership to her school and beyond. Ansley’s dedication to service is equally as inspiring. She volunteers with various organizations, including the SPCA of Wake County, Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child, as well as supporting local elementary schools through her cheer team activities 🎉. We had an incredible time hosting Kidzu Children's Museum at the music park! 🎶 It was wonderful to see Kidzu connect with families and share how they’re making a positive impact on young learners. 🎁 Grant Giving Tuesday Alert! 🎁 Today, we had the pleasure of visiting the Raleigh Music Collective, where they shared their inspiring mission of transforming students’ lives through comprehensive music education. 🎶 With weekly one-on-one and group instruction, they bring creativity, joy, and hope into the lives of young musicians from diverse cultures and backgrounds. By providing instruments 🎻, supplies, and tuition-free programs, the Raleigh Music Collective breaks down financial barriers, while also making their classes accessible by offering them at convenient community locations. We’re proud to support their efforts with a grant, which will help fund their Summer Camp and fall group classes in collaboration with the City of Raleigh's Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department.
