🎉 Gavilan College proudly celebrates the completion of Phase 1 of its new Hollister Campus! This state-of-the-art facility, developed in partnership with Blach Construction Company, Quattrocchi Kwok Architects, and Gensler, will significantly enhance access to affordable education in the area. The 34,000 sq.ft. campus features modern classrooms, science and computer labs, a café with a food pantry, and more. 🌟 Set to welcome students in January 2025, the all-electric, net-zero energy ready campus also honors Hollister’s Indigenous roots with a locally painted mural in the welcome center. Big news for the Central Oregon engineering community! Last night, the ASHRAE Cascades Section hosted its first-ever happy hour at the Waypoint Hotel. The project team building this mixed-use apartment community recently finished installing the roof on the west building before the first snowflakes fell.
