At the recent IMTS - International Manufacturing Technology Show, Michael Molitch-Hou spoke with Colibrium Additive - a GE Aerospace company about its Series 3 metal binder jet #3Dprinting system. After a slow and deliberate rollout of the Series 3, the company has announced its full commercial availability.

Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Colibrium Additive - a GE Aerospace company at their facility in Lichtenfels, Germany. I spent the day exploring their advanced additive manufacturing and 3D printing technology, which plays a critical role in the production of Hyliion’s KARNO generator. By utilizing additive manufacturing, we're able to produce parts that significantly enhance the efficiency and performance of our generator beyond what traditional manufacturing methods could achieve. It was particularly exciting to see a handful of machines being produced for Hyliion, which will soon be shipped to the U.S. to further scale up our production capacity! We are thrilled to have such a strong partnership with Colibrium Additive and are looking forward to the many milestones we'll achieve together in the future!
