Marketing's number 1 job is Revenue. Did you know Canberk doubled Hockeystack's revenue in 95 days? I absolutely love what HockeyStack is building. Canberk Beker sat down with me to unpack their content playbook. Read the interview. Steal the plays. Generate revenue. Win. 🚀

Clay has one of the most admired playbooks and companies in SaaS. They've recently been listed as one of the next unicorns by Forbes and raised a $42 million Series B round. What intrigues me the most outside of their product is the work they've done in building community, specifically in harnessing 'creators' and 'experts'. I sat down with Thomas Colitsas to unpack their playbook. And now I'm sharing it with you in the most recent The Collab drop. Shout out to Varun Anand, Kareem Amin, Nicolae Rusan and team for what they're building. Check it out 👇

Do you know what THE most used and critical part of my tech stack (outside the crm) has been as I built RevGenius? Typeform ! Steal all the ways we’ve used it (and thought about using it): ▶️ New Member Sign Up - All 45k+ slack members have signed up through Typeform. ▶️ Partner Forms - All our inbound leads come in on Typeform. ▶️ Past RevCon Conference Reg - 7k sign ups through a typeform. ▶️ Community / Sponsor surveys for members. ▶️ RevRoom sign up - Sr leader community intake form. ▶️ Mentorship Program intake. ▶️ Submission for Speakers for Webinars & RevCon. ▶️ Literally every new form we launch. The reason why it’s so powerful (outside of the elegant way you can design it) is that it has integrated seamlessly into our systems -> Hubspot, Calendly, Slack, and Wordpress have been connected natively with Typeform (just click a button or two) and the workflows are smooth. I set things up fast myself. As a founder who runs a lean and profitable business that’s invaluable. For my side hustle I’ve used Typeform as my intake forms for my newsletter too. Here’s a product idea for you: I’ve thought about building MVPs for products like job boards with typeform -> intake for company hiring (ask to pay for submission - stripe integration w typeform) + candidates looking. Data goes to google sheets, figure out some matching algorithms to connect company and candidate and automate email introductions. Embed in Wordpress or Webflow or whatever to give a landing page place. So I’ve done all that with the OLD Typeform. Now with Typeform for Growth you can also: ▶️ Use video to create personalized forms ▶️ Combine high-level details from data enrichment with high-quality insights directly from leads. ▶️ Automate scoring, routing, and following-up on your most promising leads. Super excited to test this 🚀 Want to check it out? Link in the comments below 👇🏼 #TypeformPartner

My brother and I at NOFX last night. Why this is so important to me: - I've listened to them for 25+ years (eek!) - Something my brother and I can bond over - The Punk 'movement' was counterculture yet potent Exploring how Punk Rock rallied the 'outcasts' and created a movement so powerful that it hit the mainstream is something incredible. How NOFX is still packing out the biggest NYC venue not in a sports arena is a massive feat (other punk bands like Rancid and Green Day are selling out the arenas too). Rallying so many people against a common enemy (the establishment / authority) was potent. And everlasting. And it separated itself and didn't lose steam/followers with the inspirational rock bands from just a few years earlier (and today) dominating the space. In fact, it gained momentum because of them. They were trying to be different, not better. As a result the more traditional main stream bands weren’t really competitors at all. When you can mix good vibes nostalgia with family AND get a lesson in creating movements that last = ❤️ I'm going again tomorrow night again. IYKYK. Movements >>>

I want to find the top new creators on LinkedIn: Smaller accounts are being overshadowed by larger ones. And I’m not seeing all the talent. So I'm looking to connect with more up-and-coming creators on LinkedIn. So, if you're less than 10k followers, drop 3 lines below: → What's your business? → What’s your favorite creator tip? → Who is 1 other creator worth following? Word of mouth is my most effective motion for discovery. This is the way. Let's upgrade my network.

Nobody cares about your new product features. They care about the massive problem you solve that impacts them. And that your product actually WORKS to solve that. Build a POV by evangelizing tf out of the problem. Tell THAT story. Stop adding noise without connecting it to something impactful. Buying software sucks. There’s gotta be an easier way…. (You get it) Win. 🚀
