Take a moment to meet Collider member, Robin Solinsky! Q: What brought you to the Rochester area? A: My husband started a position at Mayo Clinic in spring 2023. My son is now enrolled in school here so we'll be here until he graduates high school. Q: What are some of your hobbies and interests? A: I 'm an avid cyclist and love being active, especially when the backdrop changes. I travel frequently with my family to get my son exposed to as much of the world as I can. Q: What do you do for work? A: I am the director of Clinical Data Systems at a small clinical research organization, BRIGHT Research, that primarily focuses on getting medical devices approved by local governing authorities. I specifically work on developing case report forms, data capture databases, and analyses for clinical studies.

Today Collider Foundation is celebrating its fifth year as a non-profit! Through community building, coworking, workshops, and podcast episodes - over cups of coffee and happy hours - the Collider community has grown so much. From the team at Collider, thank you to the Rochester community for supporting our mission, local entrepreneurs for trusting us with your business ideas and journeys, and to everyone who has contributed to our growth in even the smallest of ways! It has been an honor and a joy to 'collide' with all of you. Here's to another five years! Celebrate this milestone with us in person at Collider Happy Hour this Thursday at 4pm at Bleu Duck Kitchen! Cheers!

Successful entrepreneurial ventures like Bright make connections and encourage collaboration with your community. This was the key takeaway for Robin S. who participated in the recent Grassroots Growth event co-sponsored by Collider and Destination Medical Center (DMC). You never know who can supplement your team or project with their specialized skillset, so put yourself in the room where it happens! #ResearchDoneBright

Take a moment to meet incubator graduate, engineer, co-founder of Wren Writing, and recent addition to the Collider coworking community, Alira Coffman! Q: What brought you to the Rochester area? A: This question is always so interesting because 90% of the time its the same answer: Mayo Clinic. I am no different. My partner, me, and our dogs moved across country for his job opportunity at Mayo. I worked there for a short time as well before transitioning companies. What keeps us here is the community and variety of weather. Q: What are some of your hobbies and interests? A: I enjoy reading, writing, video games, painting, sewing, mainly anything crafts! Q: What do you do for work? A: Currently, I am a Front End Engineering Lead at an automotive company. And I am currently pursuing starting my own business, Wren Writing.
