America’s aging and increasingly congested electrical grid has become a major impediment to the energy transition, and it will struggle to keep up with projected load growth. Our next Speaker Series event on October 15th explores Grid Enhancing Technologies (GETs), which are solutions that allow existing transmission infrastructure to function more efficiently, expand their current capacity, and can be deployed rapidly and at a lower cost. We’ll be joined by Tim Stelzer and Eli Asher of LineVision, who will provide an overview of GETs, the capabilities they offer, their current state of play in the U.S., and highlight case studies of dynamic line rating (DLR) technology.
