Go to Disaster Assistance at DisasterAssistance.gov 2. Call the FEMA helpline at 1-800-621-3362 to apply for assistance. If you use a relay service, such as video relay (VRS), captioned telephone or other service, give FEMA the number for that service. 3. On #NationalHeroesDay, we thank and celebrate our real-life heroes who work behind the scenes but go above and beyond to take care of others. *For those serving as caregivers, guardians, mentors and advocates. *For those working around the clock to prepare, protect and support so many in the path of disasters and other emergencies. And those already preparing for the next event. *For those taking care of patients across all ages and health stages. *For those working to fight #foodinsecurity. *For those conducting research to find the latest remedy, treatment or therapy. *For those striving to connect families and larger communities to services and resources to help them thrive. And for so many more....we say "Thank You!".
