Today, we travel to the far eastern end of the Corn Belt to visit direct from the field with an old friend and agronomy expert, Ben Hushon, of The Mill in White Hall, Maryland. He shows us in real time how the corn is visibly suffering from a lack of rainfall in that part of the country while it is currently in the critical pollination phase - right when it needs water the most. Yeah, we have some near perfect crops in the heart of the Midwest, but on either end, we are learning of some sobering details about the growing season.
