Today our spotlight is on Communities In Schools of the Heart of Texas (CIS HOT)! In 2023, CIS HOT helped 50 students secure internships, earning over $63,000! 🎉 One of those students was Melissa, who landed a paid internship while in high school when she joined their workforce development program. The organizational skills, tenacity, and passion for serving others that she demonstrated in that internship earned her a part-time position as an administrative assistant at the CIS Heart of Texas affiliate office.
