Community Access to the Arts (CATA) nurtures and celebrates the creativity of people with disabilities. Through vibrant arts workshops and public events, CATA artists tap into their creativity and share their unique points of view with the wider community. CATA collaborates with 55 partner organizations—residences, day programs, schools, and nursing homes—to bring visual and performing arts programs to 1,000 people with disabilities across Berkshire County, MA and Columbia County, NY. CATA is proud to be part of the Berkshires/Columbia Counties Pay Equity Coalition, a cohort of local arts organizations exploring compensation equity for entry- and mid-level workers in the local nonprofit arts sector. 📣 Join us on SEPTEMBER 25 at 5pm 📣 at Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center for the public release of the second report showcasing progress made and remaining barriers, according to employers and workers themselves. Register for free at https://lnkd.in/e-2wzhkx Findings shared at the September 25th pay equity summit will include the results of two follow-up surveys to employees and employers, case studies from the coalition of their journey of successes and challenges implementing report recommendations, and new regional and national benchmarking data.
