Our new undercover investigation into caged rabbit farming in the EU is out 🚨 We found rabbits and does farmed for food being kept in cages, with missing fur, overgrown claws and cuts on their ears. We filmed sick rabbits who couldn’t lift their heads, rabbits laying lifeless among the living, and rabbits desperately trying to chew their way out of cages. All because the EU has failed to keep its promise to ban caged farming. These disturbing images reinforce the urgent need to #EndTheCageAge. Help us end this. Earlier this week, I hosted a webinar to launch the release of our first annual PigTrack report, and to highlight companies leading the way for sow welfare. It was a success! With attendees from some of the largest retailers, hospitality companies, and restaurants, it was exciting to feel the momentum around eliminating crates. Special thanks to Ryan Robinson and Allie Molinaro for joining me and Hillary Dalton and Julia Johnson, MDiv, MS for your expertise! Had a blast in Dallas at the #ReducetarianSummit hosted by the Reducetarian Foundation. Though attendees represented a variety of perspectives, motivations and backgrounds, there was a unified goal - reduce reliance on animal products. Who was there? Visionary chefs, scientists, activists, journalists, educators, philanthropists, philosophers, investors, entrepreneurs, food companies, academics, lawyers, communication specialists and some pretty amazing non-profit legends to name a few.
