On-point observations from CW's own Grace Nehls about this week's Carbon Fiber conference 👏
When people ask me whether I like attending trade shows or conferences better, it’s often the conference that wins out. I have found that, while trade shows will always win out on that “wow” factor—the cool technologies on display, their shear size—conferences are much more intimate, forcing you to sit or speak with people that maybe you couldn’t normally force yourself to do in a trade show environment. This is some of what I experienced at Carbon Fiber this past week in Charleston. There were round tables to get everyone’s brains turning, an abundance of presentation material that delved into many composites topics (and often in great depth) and a lot of great industry people to get to know, or get to know better. A big thank you again to all of those attended. CompositesWorld couldn’t do it without you!
