About us
Concepts in Millwork, Inc. fabricates and installs custom commercial architectural millwork. We have provided quality architectural millwork for over 30 years. Located in Colorado Springs, CO our products service not only Colorado, but are shipped all over the country. We have fabricated, delivered, and installed millwork to all types of projects including: retail spaces, medical office buildings, hospitals, education facilities, sports venues, hotels, airports, tenant finishes, design build projects, and government buildings. We regularly incorporate materials such as steel and stone into our millwork using trusted local fabricators that we’ve worked with for many years. Carrying a typical backlog of $4M to $5M does not impact our ability to provide you with the personal attention that you deserve, as we have the machinery, facilities and personnel to handle projects of varying sizes. We are open to new partnerships and will help you get your concept to reality by providing design input and budget pricing along the way to help you or your customer get the most for their dollar.

The Southern Colorado Construction Career Days Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to introducing the construction industry to the next generation. CIMI partners with SCCCD every year to give high school students a glimpse into the millwork industry. This year we hosted a booth that demonstrated different aspects of the millwork trade. This event is always a highlight for our team to volunteer in, as we meet so many promising and enthusiastic young students. Thank you to CIMI's Christine Bohl-Bellajaro and Meheerah Meheerah for organizing our participation! #SCCCD #nextgeneration #custommillworkers #volunteerdays

CIMI recently hosted its 7th Annual Company Picnic. We look forward to this event every year as an opportunity to bring our families together for food, fun, and games. Together we say farewell to summer and ring in the fall season. This year's Cornhole Champions were Kattie Pittman and Justin Tropp. #annualpicnic #workculture #goodbyesummer #custom #millwork

At Concepts in Millwork we celebrate Women in Construction all year round. Once a month, the women of concepts gather for a team building activity. This month, we took a field trip to our finishing shop, an off site location where our product is sent for the final touches. Brittany created a mini project for the group to work on. We learned and we laughed and each of us came away with an understanding of and appreciation for Brittany's role at Concepts. #womeninconstruction #celebrateeveryday #empoweredwomen #workculture #ladiesnight

In honor of National Suicide Prevention Week, Concepts in Millwork joined Associated General Contractors of Colorado, HCC - Hispanic Contractors of Colorado, CCA, NUCA of Colorado, and Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain Chapter (IECRM) in Cornhole for the Soul, a cornhole tournament to raise money and awareness for suicide prevention. Concepts’ Meheerah Meheerah and Kattie Pittman teamed up to represent CIMI in this meaningful fundraiser opportunity. This annual event supported VitalCog, a local suicide prevention training partner from the Johnson Depression Center at Anschutz Medical Campus. We are both honored and grateful to support this event and the suicide prevention effort. #suicidepreventionweek #suicideprevention #awareness #fundraisingforacause

#flashbackfriday to the graduation ceremony for our summer interns! CIMI had a phenomenal team of interns this summer who brought their best each day. All three individuals plan to apply for full-time positions with CIMI upon graduation. We feel so fortunate to have a hand in training the next generation of skilled millworkers, and look forward to the opportunity of working with these folks again in the future. To quote one of our interns, "This has been such a great experience I wish this internship wasn't over.” We feel the same, but we can't wait to see what you do with everything you've learned. Cheers! #summerinterships #intern #graduation #backtoschool #nextgeneration #millworkers

Meet Aiden Jensen, another fantastic intern participating in CIMI's summer internship program. During the program we train our interns on a diverse set of skills and competencies to excel in their roles. These skills encompass both technical and soft skills necessary for crafting high-quality cabinets. Graduates of our summer internship program will gain skills in carpentry, woodworking machine proficiency, cabinet design and layout, material knowledge, safety awareness, teamwork, and communication. Welcome, Aiden! We're glad you're here. #summerinternship #internshipprogram #nextgeneration #millworkers #skilledtrades
