Connecticut Women's Council member Caroline Wilke recently spoke at the Greater Hartford Go Red for Women event. She bravely spoke about her personal story and the power of safeguarding your health, asking for help when you need it and supporting other women. We are in awe of you Caroline!
Thank you to my amazing CVS Health colleagues, fellow members of the Greater Hartford Go Red for Women ELT and my close family and friends who joined me earlier this week at the Hartford Go Red for Women Luncheon. It was another inspiring event to raise awareness and funds for lifesaving research on cardiovascular disease - the leading cause of death for women in the United States. As women, we tend to put others' needs ahead of our own. I shared my story at this year's luncheon. I shared that I've learned over the last year to say "yes" to my health by saying "yes" to help. I shared how I've learned that there's one source of support women can always count on ... each other. Thank you to all the women ... and men! ... who have been a steadfast source of help to me over the last year. Learn more and give here: https://lnkd.in/eF7SmdBd
