About us
The Connecticut Sun are a professional women’s basketball team based in Uncasville, Connecticut, playing in the Eastern Conference of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team was founded in Orlando, Florida in 1999 and later moved to Uncasville after the Mohegan Indian tribe purchased and relocated the team to Mohegan Sun, becoming the first Native American tribe to own a professional sports franchise. Mohegan Sun Arena is our home.

We had the pleasure of hosting our loyal Season Ticket Members (The Source) for our annual Winter Member Event on Saturday, January 18th in the Uncas Ballroom at the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino. Over 700 Source members were in attendance for the first time since the 2024 season ended for the mix-and-mingle gathering.
