The team at R.E. Ginna Clean Energy Center in upstate New York proudly opened its doors to about 600 people for Community Information Night! The event featured more than 20 displays detailing the various job functions at the site as well as several hands-on demonstrations, including in our control room simulator. From supportive local officials to curious families and youngsters, we appreciate the community’s engagement as we pulled back the curtain and showcased how our New York nuclear fleet supports local economies while providing nearly half of the state’s carbon-free energy, reliably and safely.

Constellation recently celebrated a new partnership with Texas State Technical College Waco, made possible through our Powering Change workforce development effort with flagship nonprofit SkillsUSA. As part of the event, Constellation employees interacted with TSTC-Waco students and hosted sessions to showcase various careers in energy. Earlier this summer, Peach Bottom Clean Energy Center hosted Baltimore Area Council Boy Scout Troop 564 for a series of hands-on activities and a tour of the Unit 1 training facility. The group of 30 scouts visited the electrical flow lab and control room simulator, observed drone flights and learned about the benefits of emissions-free nuclear power!
