In operation, there is also some clarity and guidance in how to underwrite and evaluate these projects. San Antonio has been ranked the Nation's 3rd Fastest-Growing Major Market since 2020, according to CoStar. THE NUMBERS: "Greater San Antonio's residential population expanded by approximately 50,000 people in 2023, after adding another 50,000 the year before on a net basis. This is essentially equivalent to 132 people per day: a small commercial flight's worth of new residents every single day of the year for the past two years." THE REASON: "With a seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 3.6% as of the most recent release from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the local job market is also a major draw. Jobs in growing industries such as cybersecurity, technology and advanced manufacturing have expanded in the San Antonio area." Manchester on May is a 100-unit apartment complex located in Oklahoma City's Belle Isle West neighborhood, which is conveniently situated near Oklahoma's Penn Square Mall and across the street from another one of CSC's assets, the Villas on 50th Apartments. This is CSC's first acquisition of 2024 and we anticipate healthy deal flow in the months to come. CSC plans to upgrade the assets interior's with modern appliances and contemporary finishes.
