Raised in a family of hospitality professionals, she learned from a young age to appreciate the creativity and art of serving. For Mimi, the possibilities that surround the making of an unforgettable moment are her greatest inspiration. She recalls a time when, working at an Orlando property, she overheard a little girl who was ecstatic about meeting a Disney princess. With the property’s blessing, she compiled a princess basket, replete with a welcome note from the princess herself, and delivered it to the family’s room. It was that day when Mimi knew for certain that hospitality was exactly where she was meant to be. As the first snowflakes start to fall at mountain resorts across the country, get to know the newest mountain property to join our collection - Outbound Mammoth. The 184-room resort is located in the heart of the Sierra Mountains with access to all of the region’s year-round activities including skiing at nearby Mammoth Mountain. The property, which is part of the four-property Outbound hotels, offers a wide range of lodging options from newly renovated guest rooms to 19 chalets that offer multiple rooms, dining areas and full kitchens for larger groups. There are 10 newly-built cozy studio cabins and a selection of guest villa accommodations. Outbound Mammoth offers three casual food and beverage options and an extensive list of year-round amenities including an outdoor pool and hot tub, four fire pits as well as a fitness center with sauna and steam room. In the winter, the resort offers a free mountain shuttle for easy access to more than 3,500 acres of skiable terrain at Mammoth Mountain. Outbound Mammoth also offers discount ski and snowboard rentals through a partnership with Black Tie Ski Rentals, which provides on-site rental delivery and fittings. Special summer offerings include 24-hour rentals of lightweight, packable Oru Kayaks to explore many of the lakes in the surrounding area. After playing hard, guests can recover with Hyperice’s Normatec compression products that rejuvenate muscles and stimulate circulation. Daily events and signature services highlight the Outbound Mammoth experience as well. We look forward to welcoming guests to check out one of our newest property this winter!
