Design challenges breed innovation - In our own office remodel, we needed a way to have a multi-use common area, so we incorporated a Skyfold Wall. A Skyfold Wall is an innovative, vertically retractable partition system. It’s a highly flexible and space-saving solution that, quite literally, folds into the ceiling, becoming completely concealed. The most apparent advantage is the flexibility it offers in adapting a space to meet the office’s needs. Whether it’s creating separate spaces for different uses or allowing for an open collaborative environment, the system adapts to our team’s needs. The Skyfold Wall also affects the acoustics of the space, reducing noise transfer from one area to another, which is crucial when hosting simultaneous meetings. #25yearsofexcellentdesign #architecturedetails #designexcellence

Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a project go from an idea and rendering to becoming a real structure. We had a great time at the South Haven Farms Apartment's open house last week! #utaharchitecture #renderingtoreality #communitydesign

A peek into our interiors process - our interiors team is careful and deliberate in the selection of finishes, materials, and details that reinforce the design objectives of the space. At CORE, we understand that most of the perception a user has of a building is based on the quality of its interior environment. We focus on creating interior spaces that are environmentally comfortable, acoustically correct, and spatially appropriate. From humble beginnings - CORE started November 30, 1998 in Curtis and Janine's unfinished basement as Curtis Miner Architecture. In 2022, the firm acquired Five Degrees Designs and rebranded to become CORE Architecture, becoming what it is today. #25yearsofexcellentdesign #corearchitecture #architectureinspiration

We've got plenty to be thankful for, especially when we think about the last 25 years. Our annual Harvest Lunch with the team was a blast! #corearchitecture #25yearsofexcellentdesign #gratitude

During the design process, it can be difficult for some clients to visualize what the finished product will look like. By using virtual reality, clients can see and interact with buildings before they are built to get familiar with the size and layout of a space. #renderingtoreality #architecturerendering

Thank you to all of our clients, colleagues, peers, and family who helped us celebrate 25 years! We had a great time at our open house and hope to see you all around our office again soon! Thank you Julia Mather Photo for taking photos; we can't wait to share more. #25yearsofexcellentdesign #utaharchitecture #officerenovation
