Remember the old saying, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade? Well, that is exactly what our Florida K-12 team did. After Hurricane Helen and Milton, Melissa, Angel, and Dina, quickly mobilized and reached out to our amazing clients for help. They donated almost 5 pallets of dry and frozen products to Feeding Tampa Bay. The team met with Peter Lenhardt, the Director of Procurement at Feeding Tampa Bay, who helped the crew unload and re-stack the product for distribution. He was amazed at how much product we were able to pack into one van. These donated products were distributed to families in need of food and supplies after the Hurricanes. We couldn’t be more proud of our team for their quick thinking and desire to help those in need. #COREFoodservice #COREcommunity #FeedingTampaBay #PerformanceFoodservice
