“With Us, All Thumbs Are Green”

About us

At Costa Farms, it’s in our DNA to grow, and we’re passionate about plants! So much so that we grow more than 1,500 varieties on 5,200 acres. A 60-year-old family-run company, we started on just 30 acres when our founder, Jose Costa Sr., grew tomatoes and calamondin citrus. We started innovating and got into tropicals and houseplants. It didn’t take long before we were introducing rare varieties. We’re still at it today: Our Plant Hunter travels the world to find beautiful, easy-care plants for in and around your home. Today, Costa Farms is one of the largest horticultural growers in the world. Our passion extends to outdoor garden plants, as well. We’re excited to grow a variety of gorgeous flowering plants for tropical landscapes — or for container gardens on decks and patios in areas outside of Florida. We’ve been growing annual flowers for more than 20 years in Miami and North Carolina. In 2012 an expansion into South Carolina allowed us to begin offering perennial flowers to retailers in the Southeast.

  • Our trucks have a new look! We launched our first ever branded truck fleet last week at our driver kickoff event, where we trained our current drivers and onboarded new ones. 🚚 This project was a huge coordination effort between our transport and marketing teams, and nearly a year in the making! We are so proud of the individuals who made this historic moment a reality. See us on a highway near you 🙂

  • Hurricane Helene's devastating impact on individuals and communities - within and beyond our team - has reminded us how vital it is to stand together during times of crisis. In partnership with the Red Cross, we are contributing to relief efforts to help those affected by the hurricane’s destruction. A portion of proceeds from every order on our site (https://hubs.ly/Q02Sppzq0) will support the Red Cross’s critical work in providing shelter, meals, and emergency supplies to those in need. The response to Hurricane Helene has been immense. The Red Cross alone has already provided nearly 23,400 overnight shelter stays, served 83,000+ meals and snacks, distributed 3,100+ emergency relief supplies, and deployed 1,400+ responders delivering life-saving services. Additionally, if you donate more than $20 at https://hubs.ly/Q02SpdgQ0 you'll receive 15% off a plant purchase on https://hubs.ly/Q02Sppzq0! This effort is personal to us, as we stand in solidarity with those affected, both in our community and beyond.
