Recent consumer research shows that gardeners are leaning toward smaller weekend projects this spring. The good news for #gardencenters? They're making multiple trips to shop for plants, preferring to buy plants at the start of each new project. Use our award-winning Weekend Project Guide to encourage and inspire more planting goals, and display all the plants they'll need in one spot to encourage add-on sales. https://lnkd.in/e_Yc6XxW

Our CEO is also one of our chief plant spotters, actively involved in searching for, sourcing, and evaluating new varieties from the best breeders around the world. Here’s just one he’s brought back to be a #monroviaplants Distinctive Selection.
💛 WORLDS FIRST 💛 7DAYLILLY, See you Tomorrow Here is the worlds first 7 daylilly called 💛 See you Tomorrow 💛 ! 20 years of breeding/evaluation work before it is being released. This breeder Michel van 't Hul has been extremely patient before he released this. The first day when he selected he thought, ok normal flower. The day after he came back and he saw the same flower on the plant which is could not believe it. That can happen he thought. The third day he came back and again the flower was on it! Still same reaction that may can happen. the fourth day he came back and he saw the color changing which he got unbelievable 🤷♂️ excited of something he could not believe! The first year he thought maybe this is a mistake, and something wrong with the plant untill he got it experience all the years after and that made this the Worlds first 7daylilly! As first i had the same thought that i could not believe this is true, i had to see & experience it myself and yes it is 100% true! During Chelsea Flower Show this will be released by Thompson&Morgan, in North America this is being released by Monrovia. UNEX is the exclusive bareroot producer and the good news is that they are already sold out. Keep an eye on this one because this 💛 See you Tomorrow 💛 7daylilly is 100% a game-changer!

It's Employee Appreciation Day, and while we call them craftsmen, the sentiment is the same! We are deeply grateful for the way each and every person here at #MonroviaPlants puts hearts, hands, and minds together to grow beautifully. #EmployeeAppreciationDay
